According to producers of the film "The idea is to create a suspense documentary while interviewing all those connected with the kidnapping, starting with Vaxman's family, through the security system and up until the kidnapping". It is expected to also interview Hamas sources. On October 9, 1994, Vaxman was kidnapped at the Tayasiim Junction near Yehud and was held as a hostage by the Hamas. The terrorists distributed a video showing Vaxman with a gun pointed at his head, and his request to the Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin to free Sheikh Ahmad Yassin and another 500 security prisoners, and if Israel does not succumb to this request, he will be assassinated on Friday at 20:00. On Friday, October 14, 1994, the General Security Services (Shabak) located the place where Vaxman was being held at Bir Naballah North of Jerusalem, after catching a taxi driver who assisted the kidnapping. At 19:15, as it grew dark, a Matkal rescue team, under the command of Captain Nir Poraz, proceeded towards the house at Bir Naballah. The forces tried to break into the house quickly taking advantage of the surprise element. According to the book written by the then commander of the GSS Carmi Gilon, "GSS between the Rags", due to use of a grenade which was too weak to break through the iron doors of the house, breaking into the room where Vaxman was, was delayed. As soon as the blast was heard, one of the terrorists shot 7 bullets at Vaxman, one in his head and six in his chest, and he was killed. During this failed rescue attempt Captain Nir Poraz was killed as the terrorists shot at the force. An additional seven soldiers were wounded Captain Nir Poraz and Captain Lior Lotan were awarded a medal of bravery for their participation in this rescue.
